Paul Bailey-Hague
(Tuesday University of York Term Time)
In a nut shell....well (ish)....at the age of 18 PBH was DJ’ing & promoting his own events in his home City of York, booking the likes of Eddie Halliwell / Judge Jules / Rob Tissera / The Tidy Boys to packed out crowds at York’s former Super Club ‘Ikon’. Shortly after this he was regularly playing for Mixmag ‘club of the year’ GOODGREEF all over the North again with some of the biggest DJs in the world of dance.
Fast forward a few years & along side his passion for the ‘underground’ side of the dance scene, his feet still stayed in some of the more ‘commercial’ venues across the North. Paul joined forces with QBC agency and over the next few years found himself with residencies for MINISTRY OF SOUND / GATECRASHER and many more of the leading club brands in the UK. Another year on & with things still moving up & student nights becoming a key feature in his diary & playing anything & everything from commercial to credible clubs. Sets regularly include 3 deck mash-up / scratching & cutting up the biggest tunes for intense student nights! In 2009 PBH hosted and DJ’d the main stage @ BLOCK PARTY / BIRMINGHAM [The Uk’s Biggest Ever Student Festival] playing along side Tinchy Strider / Hadouken / Mr Hudson & many more of the worlds biggest artists & acts. 2010 has been nothing short of last year.....the future looks great for this young man! Reading a crowd is one of the biggest keys to DJing, he has this down to a tee........
